Behind the Writer

Ramona Augusto has always been passionate about writing and storytelling. She was just a child when she was already creating short stories to read to her older sister.

She grew up in Europe and worked in different media outlets there, mostly utilizing her written word to connect with the audiences and readers. She has lived both in Europe and in the United States, becoming a citizen of the latter in 2018.

As a journalist, Ramona developed a love for research and investigative writing, which she has applied to her character development since.

She describes herself as a Spiritual Hebrew, striving to place her faith and her love for the God of Israel above all else, as an ever learning believer. As a result and in her recent writings, Ramona is connecting with her characters at a spiritual level, pouring all of her experiences, and all of her own growth as a follower of Christ, into the very lives of those characters she has created. 

She is a Mom and an animal lover, and lives with her family and animals on the East Coast of the United States.

Ramona published her first long awaited short story in September of 2020 through Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing. In May of 2021, Ramona published her second short story, "Olivia".
